Reactive Robotics at the 3rd New Year’s Symposium of Anesthesia Care at the USZ.
On Saturday 19.01.2019, the University Hospital Zurich hosted a symposium entitled “Anesthesia 4.0 – Digital. Networked. Human?”, the future of anesthesia in the digital age was discussed. We had great pleasure to present ourselves and our work to the audience on this occasion. In the course of a keynote presentation, our founder and CEO Dr. Alexander spoke about the historical development of early mobilization therapy and today’s challenges and future opportunities presented by the use of robotic technologies. The declared goal is to support severely affected intensive care patients in their recovery process and to effectively relieve nursing staff and physiotherapists, especially in the physically very strenuous activities. Afterwards, participants had the opportunity to experience and try out the latest generation of nursing robotics, our VEMO system for early mobilization of severely affected patients.
